升学文书—个人叙述。老师的特点是能够走进学生的内心世界，挖掘和提升学生的亮点，表达出学生的热衷和潜力。
升学面试。 老师私课辅导重点是帮助发掘长处，组织整理材料，适应和招生官并熟悉面试过程， 能更自信地表达心声。
开创学生活动或领导学生组织。这是初高中学生很重要的成长经历和为升学准备的一部分。 不同性格，不同爱好的学生会有不同的偏爱。我是很喜欢创新的人， 多年的工作经验也让我学会如何寻找和利用资源，私课上我和学生集思广益，为学生出谋划策。如果孩子有朋友一起搞活动，也可以一起来讨论。

“Super Mentor” program consists of a series of one-on-one coaching sessions. Such private workshops work the best when students have clear objectives and when they need customized, timely coaching. Here are some sample areas where private workshops have worked very well:
Application essays. I see two distinct steps in preparing for application essays: deciding on what to write, and polishing the writing. I particularly enjoy the first step, that is, to help students brainstorm and find materials that will make sense of their thoughts and emotions so as to showcase their strengths and potentials.
The application process is very complex and it can be very stressful, but my experiences working with students have shown that, when done well, this process can help students understand themselves and, as importantly, find the clarity and motivation to make the best use of their high school or college experiences.
Preparing for interviews. Experienced interviewers can learn a lot about interviewees in a short period of time, through verbal and non-verbal communications. That’s why many leading private schools and colleges require interviews.
My goal in the private workshops is to help students see their own strengths and unique attributes, and develop the confidence to express themselves authentically. I’ve found a number of the methods taught in the Impactful Communication workshop work very well for interview preparation.Starting or leading student activities. Middle and high school students can learn many valuable skills and acquire memorable experiences from starting or leading student activities. It’s also something that colleges look for. Depending on their personalities and interests, students have very different preferences.
I love innovative ideas myself, and experiences have taught me how to find and leverage resources to turn ideas into realities. During the private workshops, I look to brainstorm with students, develop action plans, and help students address whatever problems that come their way.
